Shantise Fields has a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, a Minor in Africana Studies, and Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Dominguez Hills. She is a licensed practitioner through the Board of Behavioral Sciences and is the primary therapist for this thriving practice located in Harbor City, California. Shantise has over 20 years of experience in the mental health field working in direct care and supervisory positions providing services to "high risk/high need" adolescents, young adults, and their families. She has worked with legal entities, community based agencies, non-profits, Department of Mental Health, Department of Children and Family Services, Probation, and short-term rehabilitation treatment programs.

     Shantise has also had training and expertise in the following areas; Christian counseling, various evidence based practices, CSEC population, Trauma-Informed Care Practices, Cultural Competence, Education Rights, and a plethora of tools gained through school and work experiences.

     Shantise is an accomplished woman, but she is most proud to be a mother to her wonderful son. She and the Speak Truth family are excited about servicing out community and hope to have many successes come out of our practice in the future.
